Scrappy Pumpkin Table Runner Tutorial

This pattern/tutorial is available as a PDF download in my Craftsy pattern store and also in my Etsy shop.

The easy to follow tutorial includes step by step instructions, color pictures, and templates for leaves in two different sizes.

-Make your pumpkin scrappy, or plan a pattern with your squares.
-Choose which stem type you like better, or one of each.
-Use as many leaves, or as few as you like in as many different prints and sizes as you want. Then place them wherever looks best to you.
-Make your table runner shorter or longer by adjusting the height of the middle sashing.

I hope that you find this tutorial easy to follow, and I would love to see a picture of your finished table runner.  As always, if you have any questions at all please leave a comment in case others have the same question.

This finished table runner measures approximately 15-1/2" x 36" before washing.  Prewash your fabrics if you don't want the shrinkage.

  5. Good morning....just studying the requirements for this tutorial and wondered about the 52 squares that you need to cut for the pumpkins....it says 2", but later with the hst, they are 2 1/2" unfinished and the pumpkin measures 12" finished. Should those squares be 2 1/2"? I was hoping actually since I was thinking of using some moda candy squares for this. Or am I missing something? That is definitely possible LOL. Thanks so much for posting this...it's so cute!

  7. Awesome! The only reason I noticed it is because I was wondering if it could be done with moda candy LOL....however, after sorting out all my candies (I have a large collection), I don't have any with orange, so will get my orange scraps out and cut them. Looking forward to making a pumpkin table runner. I won't be on time for Thanksgiving here (that's tomorrow!) but I can use it for fall yet. Thanks again for posting this cute tutorial.
